Happy Wednesday my loves…
Yesterday was a sad day after hearing the news about the tornado tragedy in Oklahoma. I’m not from Oklahoma nor have I a family there but my heart goes out to those who have lost their loved ones and those who have lost their lives. I saw the video of the tornado in Youtube and it was so scary. Houses were flying and there was one time when the entire roof of one house was blown away. This is just so sad.

Disasters like these are inevitable. They come when they want to and they are beyond our control. Lives were lost and the properties that were built through the years are blown away in just a matter of minutes. When I think about what happened, I come to realize that there’s nothing permanent here in this world. We can lose everything we have in just a matter of seconds. This is how temporary this world is.
We should start investing in something that will last forever, for eternity. We should not be too comfortable with life here. Here today, gone tomorrow – cliche but very true. We are not citizens of this world anyway. We are citizens of heaven.
HE will come back like a thief in the night. No one knows when. It can be sudden like this tornado. What we need to do is always be ready 🙂
Sometimes I think these things happen as a reminder for all of us to trust in God more than we trust the world. We should depend on God more than how we depend on what we have. Things of heaven lasts but this world will not.
Let us all pray for comfort and grace to those who are grieving right now. May GOD wrap them around HIS loving hands and assure them that everything has a reason and that all things work together for good to those who love HIM.
2Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
