Disclaimer: This is a product review. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own.

I have always been on the lookout for the best gaming headphone. The quality of the headphone you use largely affects the overall gaming experience. So when buying a gaming headphone or headset, I always go for quality and not the price. Although of course, it would be best if you are able to get a high quality one at a lower price.
With the “gaming headphone headset earphone headband with Mic Stereo Bass LED light G2000”, my gaming experience was brought to a whole new level. Because the headphone uses an advanced 50mm magnetic neodymium driver diameter, you can be sure that the sound is very realistic, clear, and intense. When you use it, it almost feels that you are actually on the game. Every sound detail is heard.
Because it has a noise isolation feature, you will not be bothered by the surrounding noise when you play. Your hearing will be focused on the game itself. This makes the sound even clearer because there are no outside noises.
Another excellent feature of the G2000 is the LED light that can be found on the earcups and microphone. It does not only make the headphone look cool but it also adds to the realistic atmosphere of the game. When you play, you can almost feel that you are physically in the game because of the lifelike sound effects and atmosphere.
The design adds to the aesthetic attractiveness of the headset. Its design is very modern. It uses sturdy material that ensures the durability of the product. Another good feature is the Velcro cable tie that helps keep the line from twining. The headset is an eye candy but it’s not all that, it is also a durable gaming headphone.
So if you are also looking for a good gaming headphone to use, the G2000 Gaming Headphone is definitely a good choice.

Hyperhidrosis – Do You Have It?

Sweating is a natural body function. This is when the sweat glands release liquids from our bodies to keep our bodies cool. Some people sweat more because they either have more sweat glands or because of their lifestyle. Sometimes the mood of a person can also affect the amount of sweat the body produces. But when you sweat excessively regardless of your lifestyle or mood, you might already be suffering from a health condition called Hyperhidrosis.

The Condition

This health condition refers to excessive sweating of the body. It can be triggered by other neurologic, systemic, or even metabolic conditions. The kind of weather can also contribute to this condition.

The sweating is very evident on certain areas of the body such as the underarms, palms, and the soles of the feet. As the condition worsens, people become more uncomfortable with their bodies. They can barely grasp into something because of their wet hands or they are too ashamed to go out in public because of their sweaty underarms visible through their shirts.

The Forms

Hyperhidrosis has two forms. One is the primary focal and other is the secondary general. While the symptoms are very similar, the causes for these different forms vary.

  • Primary Focal. Between the two, this is the more common form that affects a lot of people. It can target anyone. Even if you consider yourself as someone who is living a healthy lifestyle, you can still suffer from it. The parts of the body affected are the underarms, hands, soles of the feet, and face.

After conducting many different researches on this condition, researches point to a malfunction in some part of the nervous system as the culprit. Because of this malfunction, the brain transmits signals that command the skin to produce sweat even when the situation doesn’t call for it.

Even if the condition is not brought about by unhealthy lifestyle, you should still be conscious about your lifestyle choices because it can negatively affect your condition. If you are already suffering from excessive sweating, you should already refrain from doing things or eating foods that will motivate your body to sweat.

  • Secondary General. With this form, the sweating is not isolated on just some parts of the body but it is experienced on the entire body. This is the more serious form of Hyperhidrosis. People who experience this condition should seek medical attention as it most likely caused by a health problem that is not yet diagnosed. Although it requires individual analysis to identify the underlying problem, more and more cases of the “secondary general” are believed to be caused by tuberculosis, diabetes, leukemia, lymphoma, and even Parkinson’s disease.

However, not all cases are caused by a health problem. Some are caused by medication intakes. There are drugs that can trigger this condition. Physical condition such as pregnancy can also be a contributing factor to secondary general excessive sweating.

Hyperhidrosis can cause discomfort but it can also help reveal an underlying health problem. It is a condition that should be given attention. There are medical experts that can help patients suffering from this condition.

Top 5 Best, Worst, And Profitable Clinical Drugs

I know this is another out of my league topic but with my “clinical trial” readings, I came across these facts. I thought I’d share them with you.

Not all drugs that are subjected to clinical trials can be considered the best. These drugs were designed, developed, and produced by pharmaceutical companies with the goal of bringing cure to different kinds of illnesses. These drugs are tested and tried at clinical trials to ensure that they work as designed and that they are effective. They will not be made available until they pass all the clinical trials required and the results are successful.

Clinical trials date back to as early as the 17th century with the famous scurvy trial performed by James Lind in 1747. However, many studies reveal that even earlier than the 17th century, there are already clinical trials performed. There are also biblical instances that can be considered as clinical trials. For instance, in the New Testament, the king ordered Daniel and his friends to eat fruits and vegetables while the other men eat meat. In a way, many medical researchers consider this as a form of clinical trial. Truly, clinical trials has a rich history.

Patient Recruitment For Clinical Trials

Recently I came across a news site that published an article about patient recruitment in clinical trials. I know you might say this is a topic that is out of my league but the article got me curious. It detailed how challenging patient recruitment for clinical trials is. So as a response, I have written an article on how to somehow help pharmaceutical companies in patient recruitment. I know they have great researchers but this is from a standpoint of a regular person. Sometimes it is good to get ideas from regular people.

In the medical field, clinical trials are highly valuable. A vital aspect of a clinical trial is the patient. The patient’s participation plays a crucial role in the success of the research. This is how important patient recruitment is in every clinical trial. However, recruiting patients for the study is not as easy as it seems.

The Challenge In Patient Recruitment For Clinical Trials

The challenge with most clinical trials is the recruitment of patients. Firstly, not a lot of people are aware of clinical trials. This is due to the fact that they are not widely advertised. Patients also don’t usually talk about their experience to others. Secondly, there are people who are curious about clinical trials but they lack information. They may want to know if they are qualified but they couldn’t get the information that they need. Thirdly, some people want to try but are scared of something they are not familiar of. Fear of the unknown can sometimes hinder them from being patients. Lastly, some patients don’t finish the trials. They quit even before the trials are completed.

Strategies In Patient Recruitment For Clinical Trials

For companies conducting these trials, here are useful strategies that you should consider employing in order to successfully recruit qualified patients who can participate:

  • There are many ways to educate potential patients. With more active people online, there is no doubt that social media is one of the most effective venue. There are many forms of social media that you can use. By creating an informative video, infographic, or short advertisement about the clinical trial that you are doing, you can raise awareness and remove doubts about clinical trials. Make sure you have a clear call to action that people can respond to. The good thing about social media is they have a very broad reach.
  • A huge help in patient recruitment is local networking. Make your project visible to the community. This will not only help your project gain recognition but it will also make people become more familiar with it. With familiarity, fear is lessened.
  • Because you need the patients until the end of the trials, retention strategies are necessary. Make the experience worthwhile for the patients. Communication plays a vital role in retaining patients. Reasonable compensation is also required.

Patient recruitment for clinical trials is significant. These strategies will help companies in the recruitment process.

Christmas Songs With Instrumental Music

Happy 16th of December my loves…

December is synonymous to Christmas. At the onset of this month, you can hear Christmas songs everywhere, be it on the radio, television, and even online. These songs make the season alive. Once you start hearing them, you will feel that it’s already Christmas.

Most Christmas songs are timeless. We hear them every year and yet we don’t get tired of them.  Some of them are even older than us yet they are still enjoyed by today’s generation. They are passed on from generations to generations. Along the way, some modifications have been added, remixes are done, and different versions are introduced but the basics of the songs and their meaning remain the same.

With the internet available for a lot of people, Christmas songs download has become an option. Many people download Christmas songs which they can play over and over again. There are Christmas songs for kids and merry Christmas songs for all ages.

There are heaps of Christmas songs available for people to enjoy this season. Christmas songs download allows you to choose from a wide variety of songs. Some are merry Christmas songs and some are sentimental Christmas songs. There are also Christmas songs with instrumental music. The latter makes Christmas songs a perfect accompaniment for different activities and projects. They can also be played on their own.

If you don’t have a list of songs to play or music to use as accompaniment for your projects this season, you may want to consider the following Christmas songs with instrumental music:

This is one of the timeless songs of the season. It is the instrumental version of “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”. The dominant instruments that you can hear in the song is the percussion instrument, glockenspiel, and the string instrument, harp. The method of playing the instruments, plucking, creates a soothing yet very festive effect that makes listening to it enjoyable. It sounded close to a lullaby in terms of the tempo and beat. This makes it perfect for kids and babies.

This instrumental music comes in four different versions which are slightly different from each other. The difference is mostly on the length, sound effects, and speed of the music. Some versions are shorter and faster than others. In terms of the sound effects, version 2 has a wind sound effect and version four has sledge crash sound effect. But the basic music is the same for all the four versions. Because of the sound effects, Merry Christmas Ident is perfect for making Christmas videos or animated greeting cards. If you want to put some effort in your videos and cards, personalizing the sound effects is a good idea. Merry Christmas Ident is a good choice.

The song we are all familiar with just became even more exciting to listen to. Jingle Bell acapella features an instrumental version of the song with a female acapella part. Acapella makes any musical piece extra special because of the effect of the human voice. There is also a part in the middle of the song that features just a beat box and the voice. It makes the song even more interesting. The beat of the song is fast which makes it perfect for the jolly season.

Who is not familiar with “Deck The Halls”? As little children, we have all sang this one way or another. Perhaps on a party or the traditional carol? Until now, this song is still sang by people of all generations all over the world. This version is symphonic and involves the harmonic combination of instruments such as bells, piano, and other string instruments. The rhythm is fast and perfect for presentations. It slows down a bit on other parts of the music and then comes back to its fast rhythm. The shift in tempo and rhythm removes the boredom in the music piece.

This is another instrumental version of the famous Christmas song, Deck The Halls. This time, it has a jazzy feel to it. You can almost feel your feet move to the beat and dance the season away. With this version, you can hear the different instruments such as guitar, ukulele, drums, and vibraphone. They create a harmonious combination of music that radiates a joyful tone. It is an upbeat version that can be used as a dance sound material or a sound background for upbeat parties.

“Happy Christmas Song” is one of the very popular songs for this season. The instrumental version of the song is as positive and upbeat as the original song except without the lyrics. The tempo is fast but there is a part in the music piece that it slows down a bit then gain acceleration again after a few seconds. Bells, guitar, drums, and piano are just some of the dominant instruments that you can hear throughout the piece. The way these instruments combine is perfect to create a truly “happy” song, in the literal sense of the word. It can be used as background for presentations and season’s videos.

If you are looking for a funky music for your Christmas song or music list, the “Christmas Song” instrumental music is for you. It is a clean piece with a normal beat – not too fast and not too slow as well. It uses different musical instruments and at some point, there is a part wherein not all involved instruments are used. This musical piece is good as a background music or played on its own to keep the spirit of Christmas alive in your home or office.

Christmas songs with instrumental music are widely available online. You can easily build a list of these instrumental songs and music through Christmas songs download. Because there is a wide variety of them online, you can be sure that you will find something that will suit your needs and preferences. Whatever your project is, you will surely find a good instrumental music that will fit the theme and the purpose of your project.

Christmas Countdown – For Kids Only?

When I was a kid, I always look forward to the “ber” months because they signify that the Christmas season is just around the corner. Christmas is the happiest time of the year for me. In fact, I enjoy it more than my birthday. I just feel that people are at their best during the Christmas season. Everyone seems to be trying so hard to be the nicest person in the whole planet.

As Christmas is nearly approaching, I come to realize that as we grow older, we tend to be more lax when it comes to the Christmas season. For a lot of adults I know, Christmas is just another day of the 365 days we have in a year. The excitement is no longer at its peak.

Well, this is not the case at home. My son is excited for all the gifts that he is surely going to get for Christmas. He is also excited for the food that seems to overflow during this season. More importantly, he is so excited to have the long awaited Christmas break from school. Come on, who doesn’t look forward to a long vacation? I surely did when I was a student. If you can see the excitement in my son’s eyes, you will be surprised at how such a little boy can contain that much excitement. He does the Christmas countdown every year – never fails.

But guess what? I am an adult and yet, I have the same level of excitement as my son. We don’t have the same things that we look forward to, but we’re both very excited for the Christmas season. While he is excited to receive gifts, I am excited to give him gifts. Parents can relate to me when I say that there is nothing more satisfying in this world than to see your child overflow with joy and happiness and you are part of it. While he is excited to binge, I am excited to cook. I plan my Christmas menu ahead of time. While he is excited to take a break from school, I am excited to spend time with him at home. Being a “work from home” mom, I am blessed that even though I have to work through the holidays, I still get to spend time with my son at home.

See? Christmas countdown is not just for kids. It is for everyone. It is for mommies like me too. So how many days more before Christmas? I am excited!
